Cards and a Catch

I kind of stole the idea for this card from a photo I saw.  It like the antique look.

I just received this stamp set in the mail today!  It is so fun to receive a package!  It is called "Cute Companions - Romance" from Crafters Companion.  I didn't spend a whole lot of time on this card.  I just wanted to play with my new stamps.  I colored it with Promarkers.  I really like the look of the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment.

So, my husband is a commercial fisherman.  He loves fish and fishing!  Well, it is salmon season. He really wanted to catch a salmon.  I really wanted him to catch one too! We both love salmon. Well, he did, on a kayak no less!  Here is a picture for proof.  I am so proud of him!
